Started walking today. We only went a mile, but we need to start small. Bryan pulled his knee and i hurt my ankle. It's been a long time since I've been able to do anything big. When I did the Dodgers 5k, my ankle only bothered me a little, but my hip hurt. I'm just so out of shape that i need to start small.
We took the dog with us. I thought it a good idea since 1) he doesn't get out and 2) he needs to stay small too. We can work him up with us. Then i can eventually be able to run with him.
I miss running... well, the runners high was great. I didn't feel that high after our mile tonight. My sciatica hurt as well as my hip. Bryan's knee was a little sore too.
I'm hoping to do this everyday till I'm up to running. Then i can cut back a couple days.
